Festival EnCounterpoints (Juni - September 2017) - New music in the Winskiez

The title of the festival "EnCounterpoints" links the English terms "Encounter" and "counterpoints" to a new and own word creation. The main focus of the three events is on the interplay of new music with other genres such as visual arts, literature and technology. The audience will be presented with a fascinating range of diverse possibilities through the connections of the individual art forms.

On the first evening (Colours and Sounds Of Wood And Air) color, sound and nature are at the center of the compositions, new and unusual sound combinations will be developed in the second concerto (luftArt) with the help of modern technology and instrument construction. In the closing concert "Remix Letters" the form of the song and the literature-music composition is redefined by the electronic change of language and singing.
