Andrej Lakisov

Andrei Lakisov started playing music at the age of four. In 1994 he won first prizes, including 1st prize at the National Woodwind Competition in Baranovichy and 3rd prize at the Belarus Woodwind Competition. At the age of 15 he became a diploma student at the international competition Musikhoffnung in Homel. From 2001 to 2003 he studied at the Glinka Music College in Minsk. He graduated with honors from the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music and the Berlin University of the Arts, as well as from the concert exam.

In 2006, Lakisov won the Yamaha Competition in Mannheim, Germany, and has since performed internationally on major European stages and at international festivals. His repertoire includes works of classical music as well as jazz, swing, klezmer, Balkan, funk and soul.

An artistic collaboration of Lakisov took place with numerous orchestras, ensembles and bands, including the Kammersymphonie Berlin, the Lautten Companey, the Junge Musik Berlin.[2] Lakisov completed performances at the Munich Opera Festival (in collaboration with the Bavarian State Opera), the Theater Vorpommern, the Nikolaisaal Potsdam, and festivals such as the Klangfest München (Gasteig), the Stolberger Musiksommer[8] and the Chamber Music Days at the Kunsthalle Kühlungsborn.

In 2011 he founded the trio Laccasax together with Timofey Sattarov, with whom he released two albums. He also plays in a permanent duo with Nadja Zeljukina and in the duo Azar with Ulugbek Palvanov. Besides the saxophone, he also plays other woodwind instruments as well as guitar and piano. As a singer and songwriter, he participated in the Russian songwriter festivals in Bielstein, Wuppertal, Munich and Bielefeld.

In 2016, he founded the concert series Untamed Classical Music.

Roman Yusipey

Roman Yusipey (button accordion) was born in 1979 in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. He studied at the Music Academy in Kiev, the University of Music in Hanover, the Folkwang Uni in Essen (master's degree) and the Cologne University of Music (concert exam).
In addition to performances in Ukraine and Germany, Roman Yusipey has given concerts in France, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Lithuania, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Malta, Italy and Japan. As a soloist he gave over 70 concerts with orchestras. In active cooperation with numerous contemporary composers, he was the interpreter of the world premieres of their works. Furthermore, in recent seasons Roman Yusipey has performed at the Elbphilharmonie  Hamburg, Jena Philharmonic, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Mozarteum Salzburg and Salle Cortot Paris.

Anna Stern

After studying free art at the Münster Art Academy and a master's degree in Art in Context at the UdK Berlin, Anna Stern makes, mediates and explores performance art. For many years, the focus of her artistic work has been on sound and language. In collaboration with guitarist and composer Michael Kolberg, she sets u.s. contemporary poetry to music and performs it in the form of performance concerts with live video projections. In 2019, the CD 'Songs of Life and Death' by the duo kolberg+stern with a tribute to the American poet Anne Sexton was published by Aisthesis. The a cappella trio Babel 3, which she founded in 2020, improvisationally explores the range from pure vocal sound to sung text. In September 2021, the trio's first concert was performed under the programmatic title 'From Sound to Word' at the Jugendkirche Münster.
